00:00.0 – I just reset the counter.
It took only 174 days to leave Cowshitland. Was it what I expected? NO… Not even close. I’m happy anyway. It’s hard to adjust to the sudden changes of plans and accept that I’m not the only one who wants to be happy.
It’s too soon to tell if this change is going to be good or bad. I see myself here today, tomorrow, next month and maybe next year. I’m not sure how I’ll feel in about three years.
About my kids, they are not really happy about my decision of separating. Not happy about having to learn German. Not happy that there is not much to do. But I guess that once the house looks better and they have their own rooms, things will be different. And they need some German rules and discipline. It’ll be good for them (and very good for me). My level of authority is LOW. I will not say that I’m a doormat… I prefer carpet.
Yesterday I got a lot done. I was supposed to sleep better but that didn’t happen. I’m waiting now for some people coming to fix the pipes around the roof that collect the rain water… I know they have a name, I just ignore that name.
I’m officially living here. I have to thank again my friend Inga who patiently looked for information, helped me translate, drove me to a lot of places, told me how to fill in the forms, and gave me one of the best presents ever!
Can you see the permanent marker on the box? She said:”And use this marker to write your name on the tools so everyone knows they are yours”
We were moving more sand yesterday. I have to return the wheelbarrows (2) that I borrowed last week. I took pictures of where the sand was and where it needed to go. This time, I made my oldest kids do it. Last Friday when we decided to do it, it started to rain. I can’t explain how difficult it is to move the wheelbarrow on wet grass, with wet sand in it and without having strong muscles. And the long distance!!
Can you see the white stick in the middle of the picture? Above that to the right, there is a mountain of …. (who knows what) and to the left and hidden behind a pine tree, there is the mountain of sand. You can see a wheelbarrow (if you zoom in!!). I couldn’t take a better picture because there was a truck parked where I was supposed to stand.
While my kids walked there they where shouting: “This is Horshitland!!!” (There is a horse on that land).
The entrance to my house is that little way you see between the pines.
You go to the backyard using the door to the left of the garage.
The pond is on the right of where the grass starts.
Freaking far away!! I think we are done with moving sand. Now I’m going to get dressed and get a pair of rain boots because my idea is to have water and stones in that pond and not a trace of sand that you could see. I know I should give the pond priority 230, but because the man said: “The pond is not the priority”, I just decided to make it jump from place 230 to the top five. (And see how he reacts…)
First sunny day since I got here. I’m rubbing my eyes!
And that’s our neighbor, the horse (top right).
I’m trying to decide what I’m going to write next. I have a few ideas but nothing is for sure. I’d love to write about: “Finding Prince Charming” but I think I may look a bit desperate (Maybe I am!!). Or about life in tiny town, but I guess that in about 5 posts I’ll be done. Maybe about how the rest of my life turns out… I’m not sure yet… I may end up with something like: “How the rest of my life turned out in tiny town while looking for Prince Charming”.
Love the white horse, Prince Charming should be on it.:)))

Hmmmm….there may be a frog in that pond waiting to be kissed, and by the state of that white horse, I am thinking a secret is held in your new land!
