Still feeling like beige underwear. Cutie didn’t let me go this morning so the stupid adaptation period will ve even longer. Thank goodness I always have a project to work on.
I think that the Christmas decoration triggered my anxiety. It’s only September.
This weekend the Oktoberfest Parties start. I’m sure I won’t be going to anyone, but who knows.
My kids will stay the next 3 days with the man. I hope I can finish some things. I have the kitchen almost ready. A friend will get the cabinet knobs for me. And next week even the oven and my bed will be here. I’m so happy about it. Now I’m sleeping with 3 kids in my bed. Cutie found out how to climb off his bed. That really sucks. I’m not sleeping at all. Few more days. The chimney is fixed so I can paint 2 rooms. And the third room still has some wallpaper. I begged my kids to help me today, I hope they will.

That’s my couch project. A crocheted cover to put on it because I can’t clean the fabric anymore and it looks awful. And I chose to make it very colorful because it’s going to be very dark soon.

Now that Cutie fell asleep, I’ll see if I can use the sewing machine, I think I can cover the ugly chairs with some fabric I found. I can’t wait to try.

  1. Projects are good. We all need them. I hope you get some help from the kids and some rest.

    • Thank You Geraint! (I wonder how you say your name πŸ™‚ )
No help from my kids, I’ll do it alone this weekend. Can’t stand feeling like beige underwear one more second, I better get hot red or deep purple πŸ™‚ …
Could you help me with the male equivalent of beige underwear please? πŸ˜€

      • I suppose the male equivalent would be tighty whities. You know, what Homer Simpson wears.

      • Thank you Geraint! And what’s the name of the top that Homer Simpson also wears? That’s kind of a turn off too (except you are a model πŸ˜€ )

      • I think they call them “wife-beaters”, the white vest popular in so-called trailer park communities. They should be worn under a shirt and not as the shirt itself. And I’m far from a model. Cheek bones aren’t chiselled enough really. But thank you.

      • Thanks again! πŸ™‚ I dislike the name very much…
And again, it’s not always a turn off, it depends on who has them on!

  2. Beige underwear–didn’t we discuss this before? I threw mine out and got black. I admire anyone who can use a sewing machine for more than making cafe style curtains (that’s me.) I’d save so much money to be able to make furniture cover. You are a star! β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

    • Hi Mandy, Unfortunately, that’s a recurrent feeling in my life. I will look for a picture of the beige underwear I have in mind when I feel that way and you will totally understand :).
I’m glad you changed color!! (And I bet I’m not the only one!!)
About the sewing, I always search in YouTube how to make anything… And I find it!! I have periods. Maybe a month making bags, another month making lavender pillows (those tiny to put between your clothes), or anything that comes to my mind. I only wish I had more time because I have too many ideas πŸ™‚
