Sunday. So far, very productive Sunday.
Except for the part that I couldn’t catch up reading or answering comments and e-mails. I’ll do it later this evening or tomorrow when my kids are not here. They don’t like me so much when I’m on the computer.
This morning I told them that I wanted the house clean and tidy. It’s not ready yet but it looks much better that before.
I decided to forget my fear and hang all the bedroom lamps, the hall lamp and one lamp in the living room. When I was working on the last lamp, I blew the fuses because I forgot to check if it was on or off. I didn’t even notice until my son shouted: “Did you disconnect the modem?” “NOOOO, I’m trying to connect the lamp to the ceiling, come and help me”. So I asked him to test if it was working and we discovered that it didn’t work because there was not electricity in the entire house.
Now we have lights almost everywhere.

Yesterday I stayed with my oldest son until after midnight drilling and hanging the beautiful lamp in my bedroom.
It looks like this now. I’ll make better pictures another time when the rest of the room looks nicer. You are supposed to get the stars or the red lights, not both at the same time but we were testing it. I’m really pleased with the results.

More and more people come to this blog looking for the same thing. These are the search terms of the past month.  I can’t believe it!

I’ll continue doing something now so maybe I’ll feel better later.
