Wednesday. Christmas Eve. Every year I plan to have everything ready as soon as possible and then sit and relax. I never could do it before. I always end up doing everything last minute and having dinner WAY too late. I never had help from the man or my kids so the day was always bad. And of course, after cooking the entire day I had to shower before dinner because I needed to wear my pink panties. So mostly it was this way, I put the food in the oven and run to take a shower. Then dinner and then the plan was to watch a movie. I hate it because my kids expect me to sit and watch it with them but of course, I had to take care of the dishes too and get ready everything for the next day, that mostly was going to the man’s aunt and it involved a lot of packing and stress.

This time I’m trying again to please them. I did all the shopping last month. Yesterday I spent the whole day cooking and baking so hopefully, I can relax a bit together with my kids and do nothing till Friday.

I made 2 lasagnas for tomorrow, then pasta and turkey legs for tonight. I also baked marzipan cookies and 2 panettone’s because that’s the only tradition I keep for Christmas (we call it Pan Dulce in Argentina). All the rest changes every year, I cook what my kids want and we are all happy. (Not true, I hate it some years because they come up with crazy ideas… Like sushi. And if you never made it before, you don’t know that the rice has to be cold or you won’t be able to roll it… then when it gets cold it’s past 7pm and rolling sushi for so many people takes a lot of time, specially without any help).
I’m not sure if you noticed, but except the turkey legs, everything is in disposable trays.

After baking the cookies, I realized I didn’t have enough sugar for the panettone’s so I sent my son to the supermarket. He got back with icing sugar and soaked. I was very disappointed and I broke his heart probably. He offered to go back but then it was very dark and stormy. I was about to pass on the panettone when I remember the sugar pot (for when I get visitors (never)). Thank goodness.

Friday is also a Holiday here. I forgot about it. It’s Saint Stephen. All the stores are closed. Cutie’s real name is Stefano (Stephen) so I decided I was going to bake a cake. But I don’t have sugar… Only sugar cubes, so probably I’ll be crushing sugar cubes early in the morning.

It seams that my blog will be famous for ass and boob groping. This is the first search term of the day.

Rob from weight2lose2013.wordpress.com was curious about how high I appeared on the search. So yesterday, for the first time, I did a Google search (I don’t use Google, I’m a Yahoo girl).

It seems I’m there to stay…

One of the pictures I found was this one below, probably that explains how some sick minds work. Or why do you think they are searching? When I did the search, it was to illustrate the total lack of respect for women and to tell my personal experiences.
