Saturday. I feel cold today. I even have my daughter’s poncho on, that looks like a granny wrap on me. A very hip granny wrap because it’s purple and sparkly. I made it for her but she’s still not convinced if she likes it. It’s warm and soft. And I hope nobody sees me wearing it.
I have so much to do this weekend before my kids get home tomorrow that I really don’t know where to start. I already checked how much food I have at home so I won’t be going to the supermarket.
I also have to study some German driving rules. Now my stomach hurts.
Yesterday I fell asleep quite early. I think I dreamed the entire night. I woke up many times with a WTF face because of the strange dreams I was having. This morning I didn’t remember much, only the man’s girlfriend. Why?? I’m tempted to look for interpretations but 1) I don’t really want to know the meaning. 2) I don’t have much time.

Some weeks ago, I got from Maria at peacfulyogamama.wordpress.com the recipe to make Skolebolle. Norwegian sweet rolls with custard and coconut icing.
I had promised my 3rd son long ago that we were going to bake something together. So yesterday that my son had only 3 hours of school, I decided to prepare the rolls with him. That is, I made the dough in the bread machine and only let him make the little balls and add the custard and icing.
I freaking learned my lesson. My kids are not compatible with mixing ingredients. As I’m not compatible with cleaning the mess around.

There is only one thing I like when there is snow. And that is the acceleration of the cooling process when I need it. Cold custard in minutes.

So when I know that the snow will stay for a few hours, I bake a cheesecake. Because waiting 5 hours for it to cool makes me really anxious. Which is really odd because I’m a patient person. Apparently not when it’s food related.

And these are the finished rolls.

I see now if I can finally finish the last bedroom. My mom will be here in a few days and I’d love to have that ready before she comes.

Have a nice Saturday!!
