Friday. I’m exhausted. Doctor in a couple of hours. I’m really anxious and I don’t know what to expect. The week is going very slowly. We had one sunny day and today is again cloudy and it was raining. That’s affecting my mood too. Right now nothing seems good and nothing satisfy me. If I’m not depressed already, I’ll be in a couple of minutes. I really don’t like feeling this way. I’m fighting it but I’m not succeeding. There is always something to push me down.
Not having the energy or concentration to catch up reading blogs is killing me. I hope that changes soon. I’m behind and I’m really sorry about it.
My kids are out of control, the weather is affecting them too (and seeing me like this is not helping either).
Yesterday, my youngest son emptied a bottle of softener in the living room. You have no idea how hard to clean is that. Everything is slippery. The only good thing is that the house smells like “sea breeze”.

And IT’S FRIDAY and I’m out of love.
Anyway, a song by The Rolling Stones. I’m feeling like Mick lately.
I was very lucky to see them in Buenos Aires in 1995. I thought: “I better take this chance because who knows if they’ll keep playing for long”. The play tomorrow in Missouri, I can’t believe they are still touring.

Enjoy this 50 years old song.

(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction
(written by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards)

I can’t get no satisfaction
I can’t get no satisfaction
‘Cause I try and I try and I try and I try
I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m drivin’ in my car
And the man comes on the radio
He’s tellin’ me more and more
About some useless information
Supposed to drive my imagination

I can’t get no, oh no, no, no
Hey, hey, hey, that’s what I say

I can’t get no satisfaction
I can’t get no satisfaction
‘Cause I try and I try and I try and I try
I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m watchin’ my TV
And a man comes on and tells me
How white my shirts can be
But he can’t be a man ’cause he doesn’t smoke
The same cigarettes as me

I can’t get no, oh no, no, no
A hey, hey, hey, that’s what I say

I can’t get no satisfaction
I can’t get no girl reaction
‘Cause I try and I try and I try and I try
I can’t get no, I can’t get no

When I’m ridin’ round the world
And I’m doin’ this and I’m signing that
And I’m tryin’ to make some girl
Who tells me baby better come back, maybe next week
‘Cause you see I’m on losing streak

I can’t get no, oh no, no, no
A hey, hey, hey, that’s what I say

I can’t get no, I can’t get no
I can’t get no satisfaction, no satisfaction
No satisfaction, no satisfaction
I can’t get no

I hope your Friday is better than mine.

  2. “Sea Breeze” lol!!!! Was great to catch the humor in that and in the Stones! Saw them in 77 and again in 95…thought the same thing in 95 lol! Cheer up. It IS the weather. We just had almost 3 straight weeks of 14 celcius and rain but the sun and summer finally showed its face again yesterday. My gosh life looks and feels soooooo much different today.

Here it was also that cold (and even colder 5ΒΊC). Now it’s raining again and maybe from Sunday it’ll get better.
It’s not fun to much the weather!!
And the house still smells amazing πŸ™‚

      • I SO feel for you!!!! It really sounds like here. Our “summer” is done by the end of august. We wait 10 months to have temps go from 14 to 30 and the back to 14. Summer, so sad 😦 Its the end of June already 😦 😦 😦

      • In 18 years living in this area, this one was the worst spring so far. I really hope we get some summer. Summer 1998 we had 8 dry days only (and not all of them were sunny!!).
Next week it should be around 30ΒΊC but until then, so many things could happen!! πŸ™‚

Yes, I’m between the farms… I wish I was near the mountains tho!
I’m planning a trip to Berlin but I don’t do it because I HATE to go alone. If you plan to go there, let me know πŸ™‚
I live near a town with the Paris-Berlin line, so any city near that train line always makes me happy πŸ™‚ (Amsterdam is one of those cities :D).

I will for sure let you know when I make it up there. My Girls have also always wanted to go! Rain has passed, birds are singing. There is hope yet, for this day!!!!!

Yes, let me know when you are going! It’s a nice city.
Sometimes I feel like suffocating here and I need to escape. I went to Barcelona on my lasts escapes because I have cousins there… And I only like to see forever if I’m on the beach… seeing this green fields forever make me only feel terribly alone πŸ™‚

Put everything out of mind, take a notebook to make notes and just pay attention to what doctor says. Ask what options you have and the risk with each on. If it comes to procedures. You must have a clear head to hear the doctor and be present to be accountability for your part. If a procedure is suggested, get second opinion. Did he get you family history, I’m sure he did.
In 1992 I had cervical cancer. I had the option to keep my ovaries. Because both my mother and grandmother mother had ovarian in mid 30’s, I decided to have a total hysto. I was 28, not married but was not willing to live with question of what if.
I pray you are not facing any of these issues and a procedure in his office is all that’s needed.
    I’m praying for you

I’m fine, the doctor said that it could be stress, he didn’t see anything strange. I’m relieved. I don’t think I can handle being sick and far away from everything.

  4. Any day is made better by the Stones! Excellent selection. The rain will stop, the sun will come out, and you’ll smile at the rainbow before you. Here’s a little more Mick to help you get your mojo going:
