Friday. I am so tired that it’s hard for me to type. Maybe you wonder how could I be tired if I’m not doing anything. True. I’m not doing anything and I still don’t feel guilty. Which is great.
The thing is, I’m anemic and I thought I could keep it under control but it seems that I’m not doing a good job. So instead of going to the doctor, I’ll increase my iron intake to 3 pills a day and I better feel good because I don’t want another needle in my arm any time soon.

Ritu at butismileanyway.wordpress.com challenged me for the 3 Quote Challenge and this is the last day. I had fun doing it, thank you Ritu.

I chose this quote by a dear friend because it made me laugh.

True, not true? I could write a lot about this subject.
Is the ego proportional to the size? Or inversely proportional? Is it true that men get big/expensive cars to compensate for something? When you see two men fighting over something, do you wonder if the fight will end when they measure their dicks?
So many deep questions. Ok, one last question: Are all men dicks? (No, some are assholes!! Sorry, I couldn’t resist).

I don’t hate men. Don’t get me wrong. I love them. I respect them and I wish all of them were good. It breaks my heart that some are not (specially when they cross my path).

And because IT’S FRIDAY, I’M IN LOVE, here is a song that I think goes perfectly with today’s post and my way of thinking.
I would change the first line though. Instead of ‘sometimes’ I’d say ‘every fu#$ing time’.

It was really hard for me to pick the version that I liked the most, so I decided to add the 4 favorites.
I couldn’t resist the original version. The Blues Brother’s version made me laugh. Tina’s version is maybe the one that touched me the most. And the Slovenian group, Perpetuum Jazzile, singing without any instruments, just blew my mind.

Please, let me clarify one thing here. There are a few times when I would say DON’T STAND BY YOUR MAN.

Those times are:

1) When you don’t love him. Then, just leave.

2) When he doesn’t love you. Let him go.

3) When he’s a dick. Then you probably have two options:
– using him like a toy.
– run away. Fast. Think about this, chances are that a dick will always be a dick and sometimes grow larger.

And I couldn’t go without Johnny’s wisdom. Difficult to pick one, so here you get a double bonus.
