Friday. I can barely keep my eyes open. I called the kindergarten and said that my son was not going because he didn’t sleep well. I thought that if I said that the one who didn’t sleep well was me and I didn’t feel like leaving the bed to cycle in the cold, I would have problems.
My plan was to sleep a few more hours but my other kids were too noisy and woke up my youngest son. And of course he didn’t let me sleep. He didn’t stop talking, for two straight hours. I said: “Come, lay down besides me and pet my back”. I don’t really like that but I thought it would keep him quiet. Instead he said: “No, I’ll give you a massage”, so he jumped on me and and kind of hit me and pulled my hair. I could cry. No one touches my hair.

Yesterday a girl came to play with my daughter. Every game the girl wanted to play, my daughter didn’t like, so she came to me and said: “Mom, she doesn’t want to play ‘dress up’ or with Barbie’s”. “She’s the guest, she can choose the game” “WHAT?! Are you saying that she gets to choose the game in MY HOUSE?”

She can be pretty scary. I think she gave me the evil eye because I had a headache the rest of the day. She reminds me of my sister. And my mother. And my grandmother. Crap, I’m surrounded. I’m the only different one. I can’t understand any of them. Why the need to be bossy all the freaking time and always be the ones who decide everything? Is it so difficult to please someone else?

I guess that when we girls say: “Man! I feel like a woman”, the feeling is always different.
