Sunday. I’m home. It’s really dark outside and that makes me a bit sad. I really don’t like artificial light but lately, I don’t see so well and I need extra light and glasses. The wonders of aging. Ughhh.

For a couple of months, every time the man came to pick the kids he said: “I’m tired of everyone saying that Cutie (3 years old), is not potty trained”.
I interpreted that “everyone” as his family, because they just can’t mind their own fu#$ing business.
I know I tried and he wasn’t ready and asked me every time to put on a diaper, so I did.
The day that I was leaving for Spain I said to the man: “I put a bag full of underwear for Cutie just in case someone tells you that he’s still not potty trained. You can say: ‘If it bothers you so much, here you go, feel free to take care of it'”.
I believe that the witch (my ex mother in law) started again with the subject so the man got tired and gave her the bag with underwear. Now Cutie is potty trained (or almost). That’s great for me, I won’t need to carry a bag anymore.

My kids wanted churros from Spain so Jordi got some for them. I froze them as soon as I got here so we could eat them today.

I ate one this morning and I don’t need to tell you how I feel. That’s a lesson that I never learn. They kill my stomach but I still eat them.

I got some pictures from my cousin. That’s me the first day. I love the sea and I need to touch it.
Next day I was very sick but I don’t think it was because of that. I think it was because I took off my scarf for about 5 minutes and that was what fu#$ed up my throat. I know because it’s always like that.

And that’s me the last day. There was a rose on the sand. I love the effect.

  3. I love the sea, too, Paola, though I always say “ocean” since my beach days are on the Atlantic. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve taken a day off to go though. I really MUST make a point of it. Maybe by next year I’ll feel well enough to be able to lug all my beach gear and spend a day πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing these beautiful pics!

    • I hope you make time to spend on the beach, it’s SO beautiful!
I always call it sea πŸ™‚ And the Mediterranean is like a big lake. In summer is really warm, nothing like the Atlantic in Argentina that is SO cold even when it’s 100 degrees! πŸ™‚

  4. Boys don’t potty train until very late. My son was almost 4 and I put him in preschool. He came home one day and said ‘The kids said I was wearing a diaper!’ and I said ‘well you are’. That was it for him. Great pictures Paola! Welcome home!
