Saturday. I spent all the time since I woke up, cooking finger food to eat in front of the TV while watching movies with my kids. That’s the plan for today and there is a big chance that tomorrow it’ll be the same.
Right now, I’m making brownies. The recipe said to bake for 15 minutes. They are in the oven for half an hour and still too soft. I’m not sure what I did wrong this time. It can’t be that ALL the recipes I make have a mistake, right? And I’m measuring the ingredients, it’s not that I just throw a bit of this and a bit of that.
The good thing is that no matter how bad they look or how strange they taste, my kids will eat them anyway.
I’ll go to sit with them now and have a really lazy Saturday.

Have a nice day!

  2. Yeah, I’ll eat chocolate no matter what condition it’s in! Usually when I bake brownies they go for 45-50 minutes though.

  3. Hmmm…well, your mind’s been relatively distracted, so who knows? :-\ I know I was having all kinds of trouble with gluten-free breads. Still don’t know what the deal was. I know weather can sometimes affect things? If they’re eating them anyway lol πŸ˜€ Enjoy your lazy days. Right now we’re dealing with a pretty big blizzard. My carpal tunnel in both wrists is really acting up, so I can tell you, the last thing I need is snowblowing and shoveling, but that’s the story. At least, so far, we have power πŸ˜€

    • I heard about the big blizzard in your area. I’m not sure I could handle that. I’m still cursing about my half inch!! πŸ˜€
I hope your wrists are better now.

The weather is definitely affecting me! πŸ™‚

  4. I was going to ask what recipe you had, because most of the brownies I make take about an hour… And who has time to wait that long for brownies????
