Thursday. It was a beautiful day today. Blue sky and not even a cloud. I dare to say the last one of the year but of course, I hope I’m wrong.

We went to Nordhorn (18km/11mi) from here. It’s a nice town and it’s much nicer when you go there by car and not by bike like I did not long after I moved here. That was insane. The problem wasn’t the distance. It was that my mind couldn’t stop thinking about what if I have an accident, what if I someone does something bad to me? I didn’t have a phone or water or anything and I decided to start thinking about it when I was 10km away. Not very smart.
Fear exhausted me more than the physical activity.

Today I had all the energy I needed to take a walk in the park that I didn’t have the strength to do the other times I visited the town. And also I was glad to find that the church that I always could see from the outside, was open.

That’s St. Augustin’s Church.

It’s not very old, dated 1913.

I took some pictures from the inside.

I really like the round windows all around the church, they look really beautiful from inside.

I have no idea what’s that.

I really enjoy being a tourist. I wish I got paid for it.
