Monday. Usually I love when my kids have school holidays but right now I’m getting a bit irritated. They don’t want to go to bed and it’s almost midnight. I’m tired!
The worst is when they get up early in the morning and they want breakfast. I think I wouldn’t mind if they get up at 6am and keep quiet until 11am.

These are some pictures I took last week in Nordhorn. I’m posting them today because last night we got some snow and everything is white. That doesn’t make me happy at all.
I miss the blue sky. I really don’t care that my kids love to play with the snow. I don’t like to deal with wet clothes, frozen hands, muddy feet, dirty house (because why should they bother to clean their feet before coming in?) and most of all, sick children.

I wish I knew the name of the beautiful park. Maybe next time I’ll pay attention to the sign.

Random pictures of the paths and different areas.

That (??? sculpture/trunks/piece of art, I really have no idea how to call that) is a fountain. I’ll go in summer to see it in action.
Behind you can see a small cafΓ© that’s in the middle of the park.

More random pictures.

The park is between two rivers (or canals, I’m not sure). The sound of the water falling makes the park even more beautiful.

Some nice trees.

I think it’s the perfect park for a picnic (when the weather is allows it).

  1. I want snow! But only for an hour so I can get my snowman built and then I’d like it to disappear again, lol. Glad you had fun in the park, xxx

  2. Oh yeah, I think once you become an adult, the allure of snow is all over!

  3. These pictures are so lovely, I adore waterfalls and am especially giddy about that cafe in the middle! πŸ˜€ Thanks for sharing these, Paola πŸ™‚

And yes, wouldn’t winter (and other) fun be so much MORE fun if it wasn’t so much work! lol
