Thursday. This morning we checked the cabinets and the paint was dry. I was about to paint another layer but we decided to see if it was needed or not. We were really pleased to discover that they looked just fine and ready to be hung.
Hanging the cabinets wasn’t easy. It took half morning and all the afternoon. One of the doors didn’t look straight and it made our eyes twitch.
Fixing the stupid door took about 2 hours but we finally made it. Now I can look at it and smile.
I’ll take a picture as soon as they are finished.

A while ago I remembered that I never posted some of the pictures of our trip to Frankfurt.
The last place we saw was Römerberg (Roman Mountain).
Römerberg used to be the place where Imperial coronations, trade fairs and Christmas markets happened during the Holy Roman Empire.
The square is the historic heart of the medieval Altstadt (old town) and a popular tourist destination.

The Holy Roman Empire (Latin: Sacrum Imperium Romanum) was a multi-ethnic complex of territories in central Europe that developed during the Early Middle Ages after the fall of the Western Roman Empire and continued until its dissolution in 1806.

The picture below is a panoramic view of one side of Frankfurt seen from across the river Main.
