Sunday. It’s still cold here so we decided to hang extra curtains to prevent the cold from coming inside.
The entrance hall is never warm mostly because the staircase that goes to the basement is there and the basement is like a huge freezer because I keep all the windows in there open, otherwise it gets damp and it stinks badly.
I had to sew a thick curtain to put in front of the basement door and I was very disappointed because I couldn’t thread the needle of the sewing machine without my reading glasses. I wonder how long it’ll take before I can’t do anything without wearing glasses. Ugh.

We have a saying in my country: “Los años no vienen solos”. It means: the years (age), don’t come alone, in the sense, they bring a lot of crap with them…
