Monday. Probably it’s too early to say I’m hating this day but trust me, I will hate it later. Even if it turns out to be sunny and warm.
My kids love to eat in front of the TV. I admit I love it too and I do it when they are not here.
Yesterday they were watching a movie early in the morning so I said to them that we could have breakfast in front of the TV and they could finish watching the movie. But I took too long and the movie finished before I got the bread ready so I asked my son to look for old cartoons on YouTube. I said: “Look for Foghorn Leghorn”.
The first episode we saw inspired me to write this post. And it’s in perfect tune with the last posts I wrote (and many of the coming ones).

Remember Prissy? She’s a single mom. I need to add this, just in case you want to make a connection:

“Any resemblance to actual persons — living or dead — is purely coincidental.”

Sweet Prissy overheard other hens talking about why she was still single. She fell devastated and decided to jump from the top of the roof. Foghorn saw her and ran to her rescue so Prissy fell madly and deeply in love with him.
She follows him everywhere. You see him walk by and see her looking at him with those eyes full of love.

Whatever he does, amazes her and she tries really hard to make him notice her.
You can really read this in her mind:

And what do you think it happens?
Of course!! Foghorn is not interested in her at all. He likes having all the attention but every chance he gets, he says a cheap excuse to her about why they can’t be together.

One day the dog decides to help Prissy. He says to her: “You are doing all wrong. If you want his attention, you have to play hard to get.” So he dresses up like a rooster and pretends to be in love with her.

As soon as Foghorn sees that Prissy is not interested in him anymore, he just clicks and decides to win her over.

So, is it true what many of us women think about men?

Here a few examples left on the comments by two of my followers.

Marissa left that comment last week when I wrote the story about one of my boyfriends.

Kathy left that comment when I asked what turn men on.

Really?? Are most men like that??
Is hard to get the key?
Do you really start paying attention to a woman as soon as she’s not longer interested or when she finally decides to move on?
Do you know that there is a chance that you’ll lose the woman who truly loves you?

Come on men!!
Do you have any idea how happy a Prissy in your life could make you? Just look at the love in her eyes!!
Why to go after the one who barely cares about you?
Are you blind??
What’s wrong with you??

This got me thinking…

I hope I didn’t offend any man. I’m frustrated. I’m feeling like Prissy today… What should I do? Stop caring? Move on? Pretend? Make a deal with a dog?
But don’t worry, I’m not jumping from any roof yet.
Sigh…
