Friday!! And it’s still sunny, even though it was raining really hard last night with thunder and lightning that woke me up and I tried to watch it but the lightning was continuos, like every 2 seconds and my eyes couldn’t adjust to the bright light so I turned around and enjoy the noise of the rain until I fell asleep again (like 30 seconds later).
Yesterday it was hot here (35ºC/95ºF). My 2nd son came back from school feeling really sick. He refused to drink and complained that he had a headache. Later he told me that the bus was 20 minutes late and that he was waiting for it under the sun. He had a fever in the evening and luckily I could convince him to drink something and take a shower. He kind of resuscitate after that and he felt much better this morning.
My other kids were begging me to take them to the swimming pool. For that to happen, first they have to drug me, hit me hard, leave me unconscious and drag me there. Maybe then, if they ask, I say yes.

The best I could do was: “Do you want water? There, play with the bucket”.

And I sat in the shadow looking at them until it was hard to breath the hot air so I decided to have a beer in my living room.
OMG… Never again a beer at 3pm in summer when my head is hot.
To have an idea of how I looked, you must mix both pictures. I had the beer in my hand standing on the armrest and then one leg on the table… The other one was like on the first picture but my upper body was tense like on the second picture and it seems that I spent a lot of time staring outside because my son came in and ask:
“Mom, what are you looking at?”
“Ask the beer”

Then it was time to cook and I went to pick a package of pasta and when I was about to open it, I realized this:

Later I discovered that it was my 3rd anniversary here on WordPress. ‘Thank you for flying with us’… Crawling would have been more suitable in that situation.

And IT’S FRIDAY, I’M IN LOVE! Specially after seeing that my cute lotus flower has a little sister! I’m so glad she’s not alone!

I picked for today a song that brings me a nice memory… It’s funny I remember it because I was really drunk that day. It was on our end of the school trip in Bariloche (Argentina) and I was with one of my best friends and we were both babbling and at one point I closed my eyes for about 1 second and then I opened them and I said: “You can’t imagine the dream I just had!!” And I told her a 15 minutes story (which neither of us could remember the next day).
This song was playing at that moment. And I took the liberty to change the word GIRL for the word BOY because that’s pretty much how I felt a few days ago when I decided this was going to be today’s song. I can’t believe how some lyrics could be so accurate with my feelings sometimes.
